The students have demonstrated wonderful organizational and cooperative work skills during the initial stages of our literature circles.  They are working in  groups of two, three and four students.  They have planned out the amount of reading and assigned roles for our unit which will be accomplished during the period of October 3oth – November 16th.  We have added the illustrator role as an additional option.  The students draw an original picture and explain their illustration to their peers.  Each day, the students read, fulfill the requirements for one role and share and discuss. Please ask your child about the book he/she is reading and about the literature circle process.
