The students have been asked to prepare and conduct an interview with a family member.  The students are trying to find out about a relative’s childhood memories.  The categories may include:  friends, family excursions, hobbies, Christmas traditions, summer fun, toys, humourous anecdotes etc.  We have discussed how to ask probing questions to discover many interesting details.  The interviews may be conducted this week or during the holidays.  We will be publishing the memoirs upon our return to school in January.  Thank you for your support of this writing activity for our English Language Arts program.
